Alone, But Not Lonely

Often society has expectations that insist women choose a life with family and children, rather than a more solitary life. Although that expectation has diminished in recent years, many women wonder about the right choice. Will they be lonely in their later years?  Will they regret the choice to not have a partner, spouse, or children?  Sometimes their well-meaning family also interjects its opinion about what they should do, creating doubt and confusion.

Not everyone experiences loneliness when they defy those societal expectations choosing a more solitary life. Sometimes those choices are based on the desire for independence, freedom or career goals. Sometimes those life choices are influenced by past life experiences that can be brought to light during an LBL session. An LBL session provides greater perspective and insight into the reasons for some of our choices in the present life. When these potentially life-altering, significant questions arise, a client may seek an LBL session to hear directly from their Soul and their Guides. They may want to ask what their best options are for their present life: whether they should find a partner or have children.

Rose wondered if she would regret not having a partner or children. Now that she is in her 40’s. and at the end of her time to have her own biological children, she wondered if she should make room for a partner or find some way to have children, especially since her family questions her choice to be alone. She had considered marrying, but was concerned that she would lose her freedom. She wondered about how she would pass along her knowledge and wealth if she doesn’t have her own children and doesn’t choose to adopt. Although looking for confirmation that she has chosen the right path, she wants to know what her Guides recommend.

At the beginning of her LBL session, Rose connected to a life when she was a well-educated man on his way with several friends to a castle to become an important advisor. When he and his friends crossed through land belonging to a new powerful landlord, soldiers unexpectedly took him captive for trespassing. He landed in a dark prison cell where there was little to eat. and executions regularly occurred. His friends were executed. However, since he was well educated and of use to his captors, he survived. He was given the opportunity to translate between the jailers and other prisoners, rather than be killed. He remained a slave in prison for many years and worked translating orders that the guards gave to the prisoners. He resigned himself to a miserable life as a captive delivering bad news to his fellow prisoners. He longed for freedom.

Eventually, he was released from prison. By then he was an older man. Upon his release, he continued his solitary life as an academic and worked translating for villagers. Although he was well-liked and well known within his village, he chose to have no family during that lifetime.

At his death, he noted that he yearned for a life where he could have had more freedom, more education, as well as more responsibility. He felt that he had missed his opportunity to become an accomplished and trusted advisor.  He did not miss having a family, but he truly regretted not being able to follow through on his dream to work as an advisor at the castle. That regret appeared as a green and yellow cloud over his heart as he left the body.

Sometimes when strong residual emotions remain at the death scene, they can simply be released to allow the client to move forward into the Spirit World.  Clients can sometimes be delayed in moving into the Spirit World during their session if those emotions are “heavy,” “lower” vibrations such as guilt, shame, regret, anger or sadness. However, in this case, he was ready to release it at that death scene and was guided to do so. The cloud dissipated and he was able to move more freely.

As he moved outside his body, he felt that he could “fly.” He moved up into an expanded place where his Guides welcomed him. They assisted as he began to merge with his Soul, named “Sarah.” Clients often have a special name specifically for their Soul because every name carries a unique frequency or vibration pattern. Facilitators sometimes ask clients or their Guides for that Soul name during their initial hypnotherapy session, which is often a past life regression, or they find the name during the LBL session to better assist the client in their journey.

Upon entering into the Spirit World, facilitators ask for the past life self to merge with that part of the Soul that always remains there. Once that occurs, Guides may take the Soul to a place for rejuvenation or healing. Upon arriving in the Spirit World, this client’s past life soul felt like he was “coming out of the water” and his four Guides provided him a towel. This was his experience of rejuvenation and healing.

The Guides said that he had done his best and that whatever did not get done in that past life can always be done in another life.  There are always more opportunities.  They said, “If you are not satisfied, you always have the opportunity to do more.”

In the Spirit World, Sarah noticed “real love and peace” “throughout her body.” She described the place where she was white with glowing purple rivers. The “love” is without time and space. It’s “without boundaries” and not just like family love, but greater and much more all-encompassing. Sarah reminded Rose that “life on earth is tough,” but that Rose could return to her special place in the Spirit World anytime she wanted to do so.  If she wanted to return to experience that amazing love or meet with her Guides after her session, Rose could think of happy times filled with joy and love. Those feelings bring us closer to the higher vibration of the Spirit World, which is a world that is always available within us.

The Guides had plenty of solid advice for Rose. They explained that as Rose, she does not need to have a partner or children. It’s completely her choice. The past life as a slave in prison swayed Rose’s choice to be solitary in her present lifetime.  Those feelings of longing and desire for freedom were key to her choices this lifetime to refrain from having her own family. The solitary life that Rose has chosen allows for greater independence, greater education and a truly fulfilling career.

Her Guides were clear that choosing a life without a family commitment is fine. There is “no concern” about choosing to have no children. While Rose absolutely loves her career as a full-time interpreter, during this session, she finds out that she is now in the special career that she has tried to accomplish for many lifetimes and is incredibly grateful.

Rose’s soul knew that Rose was concerned about how she will pass on her knowledge. Her Soul indicated that she could choose to teach others when “the time is right.” However, that is a choice and there is no requirement for her to do so.

We always have free will about how we will choose to move through the experiences and themes that we create in our lifetime; we can choose the details.

Guide: “She is capable… She will have many more chances… Please don’t let her regret her life as it is right now. She has accomplished so many things that she has not been able to do before. Don’t let her doubt her feminine side. That is really essential for her.” Her Guide told her, “Accept your feminine side – as you accepted the masculine side in that life.”The message was clear:  she could choose whatever she wants or needs for this lifetime and should be proud of accomplishing everything that she has done!

In asking if there was any more advice for Rose before leaving the Spirit World, Sarah, Rose’s Soul, shared another significant past life. In another life, he was a young man who chose to leave the monastery to become a family man. He became a good and kind teacher. He was a dearly loved father to his children and many other children. He was also a merciful man. Rose has seen that life in her dreams.

As is so often the case, our Soul and our Guides often speak to us in our dreams. Whatever we are curious about, whatever we need to know, whatever may help us live this lifetime better, will often be shown to us in our dreams, and of course, also in hypnotherapy sessions.  If we simply listen, we are always being guided. ♥
