Irmi, a retired healthcare worker born in 1959, embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery beginning with a QHHT session, then later a regression therapy session, and ultimately Life Between Lives exploration.
Despite her vast wisdom and a deep understanding of her life, she carried an unresolved void— the tragic suicide of her son in 2010. Their last encounter left an indelible mark on her heart, sparking a ceaseless search for answers to the haunting question, “Why?”. This lingering mystery cast a shadow over her well-being, propelling her to seek clarity and healing in the space where her life’s journey was originally planned.
In her journey through the past life, Irmi was transported to a time when she was a middle-aged man— a proud general leading an army into war. This character was noble and deeply loved by his soldiers, who would follow him anywhere. As the battle loomed, the general faced a critical moment: a close friend was caught in the line of fire, and his own pride and fear of death took hold. In a decisive moment, he gave a command that resulted in his closest friend dying instead of himself. This act of self-preservation haunted him for the rest of his earthly life, which was marked by hardship, regret, and deep sorrow, until he finally died of old age.
Upon leaving his physical body, the spirit realm greeted him, and he began the journey of returning home. After some time, the spirit guide appeared and invited the general to join the Council of Elders— a sacred space where past lives are reviewed, and plans are made for the upcoming incarnation. The scene was breathtaking; Irmi felt many emotions surge within her. She felt fear and guilt— worried that, because of the soldiers who died in that war, she might be held responsible for their fate. She hesitated, hiding behind her spirit guide, afraid of judgment.
With courage, her spirit eventually stepped forward before the Council. What happened next was the complete opposite of her fears: she was told that she was not responsible for the soldiers’ deaths. They were destined to die in that war, and her role as the general was neither to blame nor to be held accountable. This revelation brought an instant sense of relief and understanding that she carried a long-standing burden that was not truly hers to bear.
The soul who had played her friend— her son— joined the gathering, and Irmi suddenly recognized him. At first, there was confusion— she questioned what had truly happened and why. It was then that one of the Elders stepped forward and offered deep clarity to the situation. The Elder explained that the pride the general felt had led to a wrong decision— a decision that changed the course not only of that life but also of the lives involved. The general had lived a life where the friend, her son, was meant to experience certain challenges and lessons, and this tragic event was part of the divine plan.
Irmi’s spirit listened as the Elders revealed that her own life and her son’s were intricately intertwined through this unresolved karma. The pain and guilt she carried were part of a larger purpose— to learn and grow from their shared experiences. She and her son’s soul discussed different possible paths and the lessons they needed to work through to resolve their issues, seeking mutual understanding and respect.
However, as they explored these options, progress was slow, and a sense of frustration built. Seeing this, another Elder stepped in with a compassionate suggestion— an opportunity for the two souls to resolve their karma and learn their lessons within a single lifetime, rather than stretching across many incarnations. This profound insight offered a new perspective: they could accelerate their healing and find closure in this lifetime, fulfilling their spiritual journeys more swiftly and with greater clarity.
The Elder suggested that both souls could learn deeply from each other’s pain by transforming the situation and gaining insights through reflection and understanding. The idea was to turn the tragedy into a profound lesson— an exchange where each would experience the other’s suffering, ultimately allowing both to grow and heal. The Elder emphasized that this was merely a suggestion, a potential pathway for accelerated learning and resolution.
It was proposed that they would return together as mother and son, carrying the lessons into their new lives. In this new incarnation, where her friend—her son— had died due to her decisions in that past life, the same soul of her son would now face a different challenge: he would take his own life, in a different context, but with comparable themes of suffering, regret, and healing.
Both hesitated, feeling the weight of this possibility. Yet, in their hearts, it was clear that the Elder’s suggestion resonated with their deepest intentions to resolve their karma and find true peace. With a shared breath, they agreed to proceed along this proposed path, understanding that it would be a profound and transformative journey for both of them.
This courageous life plan was agreed upon by both souls, embodying their deep desire to heal and learn. There was a profound understanding shared between them: the life that lay ahead would be filled with challenges, opportunities to falter, and moments of heartbreak, but also moments of tremendous growth and understanding. Both felt that this was something they needed to undertake— a path that, despite its difficulties, would offer the greatest potential for spiritual evolution.
With mutual acceptance and silent commitment, they prepared to embark on their next journey together, leaving behind the awareness of the life plan they had crafted— a plan that promised pain yet held the promise of clarity, compassion, and unparalleled growth. As they transitioned into their new incarnation, they carried with them the hope that through every trial and triumph, they would ultimately find healing, purpose, and deeper connection.
Irmi slowly emerged from her deep trance, returning from her soul’s homeland to the familiar surroundings of my office. As she opened her eyes, her facial expression had softened remarkably— her face was serene, smooth, and radiated a peaceful glow. It was evident to anyone observing her that profound transformation and healing had taken place. The depth of her journey was reflected in her calm demeanor, a gentle reminder that she carried a new understanding and a sense of resolution that would continue to unfold long after the session ended.
Six months after her session, I spoke with Irmi again, and it was inspiring to hear how her life had transformed. She shared that her day-to-day life was now different— more peaceful, centered, and filled with a gentle sense of calm. Her Life Between Lives session had provided her with answers to the profound questions about why she had to lose her son, and the clarity brought her a deep sense of understanding. She no longer carried the despair that once overshadowed her heart; instead, she felt a profound healing that touched both her soul and her mind.
Irmi had also embraced forgiveness— something she now found easier to practice. She explained that experiencing what it feels like to carry guilt for many lives had helped her understand how unnecessary blame is, especially since she was not truly responsible. Her fear of passing had diminished, replaced by a respectful acceptance of life’s natural cycle. When loved ones around her prepare to leave this plane, she now feels a deep comprehension of their journey and her own.
In a heartfelt conversation with her daughter, it became clear that what once felt an obstacle had now become her path. Her daughter, with love and wisdom, told her, “What’s in you is your way.” This simple phrase encapsulated her deep transformation— embracing the sacredness of life’s journeys and honoring the soul’s own way of learning and growth.
I want to share with you that even in your darkest moments— when grief, guilt, or confusion weigh heavily— you are on a path of profound growth and understanding. Moving through the density of those difficult feelings is not easy, but it’s essential for your evolution. Trust that by facing what’s hidden within, you can transform pain into clarity, forgiveness, and inner peace. Remember, growth often begins in the darkness, and it’s through navigating those shadows that we discover our resilience and deeper wisdom. This story is a reminder that even the heaviest burdens can lead to beautiful transformation. ♥
