Exploring Inner Loneliness

When working as facilitators with the theme of loneliness, our clients usually refer to external experiences related to social interactions: longing for soulmates, struggles in relationships, or the feeling of having to face everything alone. However, from the soul’s perspective, these challenges are self-chosen through soul contracts. In this case study, we meet a deeper form of loneliness – an inner disconnection between the human self and the soul self.

Emilio’s Story

Emilio, a 43-year-old man, sought clarity on why his spiritual connection had been severed since childhood. As a child, he had a deep sense of unity with nature, physically sensing the energy of trees and other living beings. He lived harmoniously, content with solitude and needing only nature, his dog as a best friend, and a few people. Self-doubt was foreign to him, and he existed in complete peace. However, upon entering school and facing societal expectations, he felt compelled to conform, losing his deep connection to himself and nature.

Despite a successful and diverse life being fluent in six languages, an entrepreneur, athletic, and well-traveled, he constantly moved from one project to another without true conviction. His decision-making lacked certainty, leaving him exhausted and energetically depleted. He asked: “Why is my understanding of connection so different from others’? How can I truly engage in relationships and remove blockages preventing deep connection?” He identified as a “thinker” and was skeptical about hypnosis but was open to the journey.

The Session

Given Emilio’s skepticism, I first guided him through body awareness exercises. He then visualized a natural setting: a forest by a river with mountains in the background. As I led his breath through his feet into the earth, he effortlessly envisioned and felt roots growing and connecting with the trees. He felt their life force and recognized them as familiar. Identifying as a five-year-old, he had already and easily begun regression, allowing for a seamless journey into his past. After leaving the womb, he did not go to an afterlife.

Journey Through Soul Memory

Drifting in a timeless state, Emilio encountered a portal, which he explored curiously. Passing through, he experienced a water-like realm, feeling in sync with unknown beings. Exiting, he arrived at a vast grassy field, initially feeling alone and uneasy. Drawn to a lake at the center, he gazed at his reflection: an egg-shaped being of light, predominantly yellow with violet hues. Overwhelmed, he realized he was witnessing his true soul essence.

In the distance, swirling portals settled, and one shone brightly, pulling him in. Before going through the portal, he felt the warm, familiar presence of his soul guide, who later presented his name as Astarthes. With humor and pride, Astarthes greeted him, affirming that he had successfully “left behind the thinker Emilio” and found his way back to his soul home. This experience, chosen by his soul self, Loki, was meant to be undertaken by himself totally alone and to teach the importance of reconnection and trust in the right path.

Past Life Recognition

Now Astarthes guided Loki to another incarnation, predominantly associated with water. Standing atop a cliff overlooking an endless ocean, he was encouraged to fly. Initially hesitant, he looked down at his form and realized he was a massive, dragon-like being with shimmering scales. Astarthes urged him to trust his nature, and as he let go of fears linked to his human form as Emilio, he spread his wings and soared with exhilaration.

Later, they dove underwater, where Loki could also “fly” effortlessly. Following a glowing light, they transcended into their soul homeland, appearing in their pure energy forms. Astarthes reminded him that this was a world Loki really loved to incarnate in and his favorite access point to home, too, urging him to remember his true essence and trust in his journey.

Insights from the Wisdom Source

Further into the session, Emilio’s soul plan was revealed. Astarthes pointed out that Loki had repeated the theme of separation across 21 human incarnations, driven by a desire for excessive experiences within one lifetime. His overwhelming energy, which he had truly felt in his dragon form in its whole power, often led the human selves to retreat for self-preservation. However, this time, with Emilio he had chosen a strong human self, equipped with resilience. His childhood connection with nature laid the foundation for his strength, and experiencing separation was necessary for true reconnection.

To move forward in a human body, Loki needed to slow down, and Emilio had to regain confidence in their unity. Astarthes emphasized that Emilio was far greater than he perceived, chosen by Loki out of love to form a powerful team. If they balanced their energies, they could fulfill their mission harmoniously. Regular connection with Astarthes and Loki would guide Emilio, ensuring a fulfilling path aligned with his soul plan.

Reintegration and Reflection

Before reintegration, Loki looked at Emilio with deep love, expressing gratitude. In turn, Emilio welcomed Loki, experiencing an emotional reunion, as if reuniting with a long-lost friend and looking forward to the upcoming adventures as team players.

This session revealed that loneliness can manifest as an internal state, stemming from disconnection between the human self and the soul self. Sometimes, soul plans require experiencing separation before rediscovering unity. The soul lovingly chooses its human partner, but it is necessary for the soul as well as for the human self to balance those different forms and energies. Regaining this connection is profoundly transformative. Realizing that one is far more than just one’s human self, unlocks immense power and energy, leading to a deeply fulfilling existence. ♥
