Social Perspective: Earthly Character (Ego) versus the Soul

By Asya Sirovnik, Certified LBL Hypnotherapist, Slovenia

Throughout the years of doing this sacred work, we travel with our clients into the depth of his or her Soul memories. My colleagues and myself have witnessed many, and I mean many transformations right in front our eyes. From the smallest changes that occur, when a person slips deeper into the inner realms of their Being, where facial expression changes to a softer and more gentle appearance, even to those shifts in consciousness where the messages of their Soul gently and wisely answer the big questions of their earthly self.

In these wonderful regressions each person bypasses the earthly self, only to discover a deeper wiser being within her or his own Soul.

To this day, still after all those cases time after time, it doesn’t cease to amaze me, the duality of human beings, the multifacetedness of human consciousness and the magic and miraculousness of human nature.

Is it not amazing, that beneath our surface, beneath all those thoughts, all those programs within our subconscious mind, all those inherited patterns, there is an immortal Being, a wise Being, a loving Being, a Being powerful beyond our imagination: our very own Self? Soul Self, to be exact.

This, dare I say, Divine Being, is right deep inside of you, a present observer always here, always ready to give guidance and help steer your life’s path…

Being aware of our deeper truth is something that many people experience as a feeling, a premonition, an inner voice that we call intuition…

As you may know, through regression, you can become fully aware of this part of you, meet your Soul and learn from this wise part of you.

But what about our daily life? How about making constant relationship with our own Soul? Is it even possible?

I have asked many spirit guides and many Souls the very same question. And this is answers that come back to me, always in similar tone:

You are meant to tune in to your higher self, your Soul, your spirit guides on regular basis…And you can do so through meditation, mindfulness, spending time in nature, being kind to others and above all learning how to silence your mind. When you silence your mind, you discern from many voices the voice of your Soul. When you connect to your Soul, your earthly ego is calmed down, while your earthly self is ultimately healed and so is your life.’’

It doesn’t take much to take time out, calm our thoughts, listen to our inner voice…however it is a ‘discipline’ that needs to be practiced. The rewards are many, but above all the reward is a life that is lived from the depth of our Souls. Now that is a life so very worth living. ♥
