A Gift from Dimensions of Ourselves Beyond our Human Knowing

I have been trained by my western educational system to observe the observable. Even when it came to the hypnotherapeutic work, my mind and understanding was rooted in the observable: what was the developmental history, which memories, past events, possible trauma or pattern imprints have been held in the subconscious mind and in the nervous system with the aim of release. When my work shifted from clinical hypnotherapy to past lives and ‘life between lives’ domains, I perceived the encounters with the past life roles, the immortal self, the soul, the spirit guides, soul groups and entire domain of spirt world as natural, familiar and vast. There was so much to explore, understand and connect to when you set out on that journey.

Then came the ‘spaces in between’: the worlds that by logic are not here on earth and not in the afterlife. I encountered the Self that is not in the afterlife, nor in past life and neither on earth, and yet it is very alive and present indeed.

In a slow and very cautious way, I began exploring the ‘dimensions beyond ourselves’ and beyond our knowing. At times, I must admit, I tried to seek logical and psychological understanding and explanations. I would think in terms of symbolism, Jungian archetypes, collective unconscious projections and many other possibly relevant terms. Sometimes it was useful and the interpretations (at least in my mind) would place everything in perfect coherent order. The transformations that followed the sessions would keep me calm and open.

But then came a time where I stopped asking how or where I can place this. Not because the questions are unimportant or because interpretation is not needed but because it limits the deeper inquiry and its perception in many ways.

What I came to understand, sitting with many of these experiences and sessions, is that when people journey beyond themselves (in the classical sense of the self) and explore the worlds of ‘non-human forms of consciousness’, they come back with much more than just a download of information or knowledge. They come back with a sense of peace and coherence with the world around them. They return with a much broader sense of the world and much deeper sense of connection and an appreciation of the Self.

Perhaps they see their origin or themselves as part of a larger community and in that context understand themselves in a more profound way. Perhaps a sense of loss, isolation and other events in their life makes much more sense in the context of this wider, greater scope of existence.

I remember the story that Michael Newton told of a client who felt alone her whole life and suffered depression which she overcame when she encountered her soul group in the Afterlife; those clients who found that their ‘family of origin’ was in different civilisation that comes from another planet, were more likely brought to peace with their existence on earth.

I remember one client of mine, who had done all the soul lessons and ‘karma’ work with her family (on earth), had worked on her childhood traumas and healed many aspects of her being. She was already ‘doing well’ in her earthly life and seemed to have mastered the lessons of it. However, there was the emptiness that she would describe as something she could not understand and decipher.

We set out to journey to see what it was that kept her quest and seeking for ‘more’. Why had she felt ‘alien’ her whole life, to this world and people in it? She felt great love for humanity but had often felt like ‘she did not belong, not because she was unloved but because she felt her home was elsewhere’; not because she was unaccepted by the world around her, but because she felt she needed to keep on seeking the world that she would call her home.

She entered the session without any expectation of what was to come. ‘Sceptic of all the alien stories’ as she called herself, she was perhaps mentally not fully ready for what was to come. However, on a deeper, inner level of who she was, she had been waiting her entire life for this encounter. She soon stepped out of her ‘self’ as the personality that lived this life on earth. As she transcended herself, loosening her confines of personalities and egos states, her vibration rose to the point it was palpable. Nevertheless, there was a greater shift that even I had not anticipated. In the room, next to the spirit guides, or perhaps because of them, we both simultaneously felt the arrival of her stellar family.

As, we both experienced a loving palpable presence in the space around us, our focus and attention shifted to a level of deep connectedness, filled with love and joy. We both simultaneously could ‘hear’ the members of her ‘stellar family’ speak to us, with telepathic communication that precedes words only. It was vibrational, energetic and powerful exchange of wisdom imparted upon us. My client’s self-perception shifted, and she no longer felt limited by her personality boundaries. She was in a state of remembering, a graceful state of belonging and joy. Her journey continued into the space her stellar family occupied, and she was carried ‘home’ with them. Suddenly all the memories flooded back: who she was, not in a past life, but who she was in a parallel existence, that was real as this life here on earth is. Her previous suffering, loneliness and isolation was changing shape as she realized that she had a place where she belonged. She, by shifting her self-perception, experienced immense self-acceptance, for finally she knew and understood her real self, her true nature. She began to perceive her identity as no longer tightly bound –but rather with a kind of spaciousness. She was liberated by the joyous realisation that consciousness, her consciousness, is not limited only to the human form. She found herself connected with greater understanding, and a part of much larger field. The civilisation she had come from, was one that had lived in what we would consider parallel reality but has already achieved a great awakening of their soul’s potential. Now she was connected with them, with their reality and with the understanding that her purpose on Earth had been all along to remember. By remembering she could establish communication that was instantaneous, healing, non-verbal and empowering. This renewed sense of belonging and ongoing relationship, in which she felt and experienced that she is part of a network of intelligence and possibilities, helped my client to embody her purpose fully. She found peace not only within but also across her existences. She had recognized that she is not separate anymore from what home and family feels to her. Moreover, the boundaries that restricted her in the past were now expanded, open and permeable to something much greater than mere ego definitions. She finally felt that she belongs, not merely to a place, or more places but rather to the existence itself.

As for me, I learned with definite sureness, we are so much more than what we think we know ourselves to be. ♥
